LED Healite II therapy is an extremely gentle and natural way to rejuvenate the skin, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, improve hydration and stimulate collagen and elastin. LED Healite II Therapy is also very effective for reducing the recovery time from treatments such as skin needling, Microdermabrasion, chemical peels and Cosmetic Injectables. Depending on the wavelength (colour) of the LEDs used, different therapeutic results can be achieved. Most patients see the most benefit from 3x initial treatments spaced 3-4 days apart, followed by 3x treatments spaced 1x week apart from the following wavelengths;

Yellow – 830 NM + 590 NM Photo-sequencing – Wound healing, Muscle and Joint Pain, Arthritis, Muscle Spasm, Blood Circulation, Hair Regrowth, Acne, Skin Rejuvenation.

Red – 630 NM – Photo-sequencing treatment for Non-melanoma Skin Cancer

Healite LED II treatment candidacy requirements may vary depending on the individual patient’s needs and medical history. In general, the ideal candidate for LED Healite II treatment is someone who:

• Good overall health: Patients should be in good overall health and free of any medical conditions that may be worsened by exposure to light therapy.
• Has a specific skin condition or concern: LED Healite II treatment is commonly used to address specific skin concerns, such as acne, fine lines and wrinkles, and sun damage.
• Has realistic expectations: Patients should have realistic expectations for the results of the treatment and understand that multiple sessions may be necessary to achieve their desired outcome.
• Is not pregnant: Pregnant women should avoid LED Healite II treatment, as the effects of the treatment on foetal development are not yet fully understood.
• Medications: Patients taking certain medications, such as Accutane, may need to wait to undergo LED Healite II treatment until they have completed their medication regimen. Please book in for a consultation if you are not sure.

Healite II LED therapy is a non-invasive, pain-free treatment that typically does not require any downtime, with patients returning to their regular activities immediately after the treatment. The number of treatments needed may vary depending on the specific treatment goals and the patient’s individual needs.

The course of treatments will depend on the individual skin concern, with results lasting up to 6 months. The effect of the treatment is cumulative and you will notice a greater improvement with each session. Patients see the most benefit from 6-12 initial sessions.

Healite is considered to be a safe and low-risk treatment for all skin types, as it does not involve the use of UV, chemicals or radiation.

However, as with any medical or aesthetic treatment, there may be some risks and potential side effects such eye damage, skin irritation & headaches if pre and post care instructions are not followed.
